   Hey

   I have a question. I bought a HTC TOUCH VIVA in france, but I wanted to change the rom language of it to english. I´ve been looking around and it seems that I can only do this if I install a new rom and configurate a language.

   My rom is 1.26.406.2 from 09/23/08, so therefore, your rom is newer. the question is, if I instal a rom for asia, will it work the same in south america? can I configure the language?

   hi marilia,
   try to do a hard reset on your viva first, after hard reset during the phone boot up for the very first time, you will be prompted to select the region and language desire, not really sure whether french were in the language list, but you can try it out.. before you make up your mind to update to the latest firmware. and please note that not all regions has latest firmware available for updating. Read carefully the note on the website and take your step carefully before proceeding to the firmware flashing.

   I have same pblem like marilia.. but mine is in italian.. I want change the language to english, i have try hard reset but still not work.. rom is italian version. its posible for me to download english version or any solution…?
