Review: Bagman Professional Camera Bag 05 (CA05-A01S)
To me, I can’t justify myself to spend hell lot of money on just a decent professional camera bag for outdoor use. Normally, I use the caselogic to carry my d40 for outdoor purposes. But, it only fits the camera + kit lens attached and nothing else more than that.
Until I saw this bagman on the spot I noticed the look and feel is comparable to a crumpler’s sling bag, but with only 1/3(+-) of crumpler’s price tag.
(picture below: the bag look like in brown, but it is actually black… I used my name card as disfuser)
look and feel tough and really good nylon material used. (Polytex 600D & Oxford 900D) and padding is thick enough to secure your dSLR inside, with 2 adjustable pads and some really useful compartments.
I think your camera would survive from a 2 metres drop with its padding thickness. But, sorry I’m not going to try it just for the sake to convince you.
lastly, funny but nothing more than a guide to take care of the bag.
Conclusion
- cheap!!!!
- good build quality (comparable to a crumpler’s… but not to lowepro’s)
- look good

I got it at Low Yat Plaza, IT Hypermarket. As if you stay somewhere in the KL town, believe me this is the cheapest you could get. :) pricing at RM79 if i’m not mistaken

Hi Allen, is this the only model of bagman bag? I went amcorp mall J-one and pudu plaza YL today but the price was around rm130 (after discount). So I was wondering could it be different bag. But to me it looks totally the same. I plan to buy two…for me and my friend. Thanks for the review. That’s how I got to know about this bag =)

If my memory serve me well, I saw three different sizes for this model. (s/m/l) And IT Hypermarket at Low Yat Plaza did carry quite a number of models in the shop.

Thanks for the review! Yay I’m going to COD for the bagman this weekend. Super excited since I got it so cheap!!!! Compared to the Canon Crumpler, I’d rather not pay the extra money to have CANON on the bag. Urghh.
Elle, if you’re looking for Crumpler, B&H and Adorama online stores sells the 7 million dollars at a steal in the US. In Malaysia, Crumpler costs almost double. If you’re looking for Bagman, try Ebay, but I don’t think I’d recommend it for mere $20 difference between Bagman & Crumpler.
